Getting from Baltimore Airport to Baltimore Cruise Terminal

There are multiple options to get from the Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) to the Cruise Maryland Terminal. They include cruise line bus transer, private shuttle bus, private town car, taxi and car rental. Below are the costs of the various modes of transportation between the Cruise Maryland Terminal and the Baltimore Washington International Airport, and, some helpful advice for your consideration about each option. Taking a Taxi Cab between Cruise Maryland Terminal and Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI)

Taking a taxi cab is a $30 flat rate from the Cruise Maryland Terminal to the BWI Airport. The flat rate applies regardless of the number of passengers/parties that share a ride. No other charges may be added.  Several local taxi companies are available at the Cruise Maryland Terminal.  Please note only four (4) passengers are permitted per taxi.  If you have a larger group, you are better off taking a Super Shuttle to the port.

Taking the Cruise Line transfer between Cruise Maryland Terminal and Baltimore Washington International Airport

On average, cruise line transfers between the Baltimore Washington International Airport and Cruise Maryland Terminal are approximately $40 per person, each way. A benefit of cruise line transfers is that they watch your flight for delays. Within reason, they may delay the departure of the ship if your flight is late.

Taking a Shared Private Shuttle between Cruise Maryland Terminal and Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI)

Generally, shared private shuttles (i.e.: Super Shuttle) between between the Baltimore Washington International Airport and Cruise Maryland Terminal are only economical (versus the cruise-line provided transportation) if you have a larger group. The Super Shuttle is $29 for one person up to $48 for 4 passengers.  Additional fees apply for a party of 5 or more.  You can request the entire van, and they will take you directly to the port.

Taking a Rental Car between Cruise Maryland Terminal and Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI)

National rental car companies are available in the Baltimore-Metropolitan area. Consult your yellow pages or contact your travel agent to reserve car service.

Taking a Town Car between Cruise Maryland Terminal and Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI)

A chauffeur-driven town car between Baltimore Washington International Airport and the Cruise Maryland Terminal is the most stress-free option, though probably the most expensive. This will average about $80 one-way to the port. You do ride in a nicer vehicle and don't have to bother with waiting for other people to board. For 4 people going between the airport and cruise ship terminal, this may be as economical as the taxi option. Larger vechicles (Suburbans) are available for an additional charge for larger parties. Stretch limousines can run upwards of $200.
